1. If there is no after-life, this life is extremely trivial. We will never live long enough to see any tremendous changes in technology. i.e. our ancestors would shit their pants knowing we can carry 10000 songs in our wireless phone that uses touch screen technology. Advances in technology only occur when there are any large wars, which haven't really happened since the end of the Cold War. It is why our technology is progressing at such a trivial rate and is focused on making our gadgets either super huge (TVs) or super tiny (iPod shuffle comes to mind). Any next large scale war (WWIII) would just end in mutual nuclear destruction too be honest.
2. It would seem that human relationships only bring about drama. Seeing how destroyed a lot of you guys + my friends get after coming out of a relationship, so dysfunctional/irrational, it makes me really wonder why should I even attempt to subject myself to such risks. Everyone states that their is potential "happiness" but I am perfectly fine with the way my life is right now. No worries, other than my academics. Friends and family whom I love to death. I am content, and a lot of you guys aren't.
3. If we all committed suicide now, the only real difference is that the world would actually recover from all the shit we're putting it through. Eventually nature would recycle all the waste we produce and our world could turn back into something like Avatar. We are a very destructive, wasting race, which leads me to believe that colonizing other planets is probably similar to the Zerg infection. With so many video games predicting that space travel will only lead to conflict, why bother. This human need to survive is really inconvenient.
4. Why do we exist? Was it "God's" intent for us to be this way? Religion has just as many fundamental holes as sciences does theories. There is no real reliable way to judge how we should be right now in society. Society seems to promote "equality" and "sharing", yet the giant gaps in financial wealth between humans is extreme. Why did we create money in the first place? Was it to help trade, or was it to create greed.
I just feel that there is no real reason to live. 2012, or WWIII, etc. etc.
